New President for Battle Chamber of Commerce

Following the Annual General Meeting of the Battle and District Chamber of Commerce we are pleased to announce that we have a new President this year.  We would all like to congratulate Gary Honeysett.

Battle Marbles 2009 - Fun for all the Family

It’s time again to look forward to Easter and the Entertainment available to all on the Abbey Green on Good Friday.

Come along and watch the local teams play in this traditional marbles competition.
All children entered in the Easter Bonnet Competition receive an Easter egg (application forms [click here] must be received by 3rd April).

Join in the free children’s marble scramble at the end and see how many marbles you can take home!

Chamber Quiz

A big thank you to everyone who supported the Valentine’s Pop Quiz which was held in February at the Abbey Hotel. 

 42 people in 10 teams ‘enjoyed’ answering pop trivia questions, and despite partial speaker failure the ‘Dunces’ from 1066 Hypnotherapy carried off the Chamber Pot.  Thanks also go to Rick & Sandra from the Abbey for hosting us and providing a fantastic hotpot.
